Monument Preservation and Maintenance Services

The City of Savannah, Georgia, is seeking monument preservation and maintenance services for its Historic Parks and Squares, as well as other historic properties as needed. The agency requires these services to ensure the proper care, conservation, and long-term survival of its public monuments and historic assets. The selected provider will address deterioration and damage through specialized conservation treatments and ongoing maintenance. The scope of work covers conservation assessments, treatment proposals, cost estimates, technical consultation, and project documentation. Physical interventions include masonry conservation, stone conservation, metal conservation, welding, and painting. The agency requires the provider to perform all physical work offsite at the provider's own office premises. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and has not disclosed a pre-determined funding limit.
