Investment Advisory Services

The City of Redwood, California is seeking a qualified investment advisor to assume the management of a portion of the city's investment portfolio. The selected advisor will manage these assets in a fiduciary capacity with discretionary authority, executing trades in accordance with governing laws and the city's investment policy. This initiative aims to ensure portfolio compliance with applicable laws, minimize market risk through strategic development, and provide ongoing credit analysis of investment instruments. The scope of work requires the advisor to deliver monthly and quarterly investment reports for the entire city portfolio, detailing holdings, composition, sector analysis, return, weighted average maturity, duration, and daily transaction activity. Additionally, the advisor must attend selected quarterly meetings with city staff, council finance and audit sub-committee meetings, and city council meetings as needed. All performance of the work will occur offsite. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The city has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested bidders. Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 20, 2026.
