Catholic Music Director Service

The 17th Training Wing at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Texas is seeking a contractor to provide Catholic music director services. The agency requires musical direction and accompaniment for all rehearsals, weekend services, holy day services, and vigil liturgical celebrations. The selected provider must also develop and present an annual budget for the music program each fiscal year. The scope of work requires the music director to select music and begin rehearsals at least four weeks in advance of performances. The director must lead the choir, recruit musicians, and provide choral responses, anthems, and special music to enhance liturgical celebrations. Additionally, the director must perform all cantorial responsibilities, lead the choir and community in song, and maintain harmonious relationships with choir members and chapel staff. This procurement is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Eligible organizations must be based in the United States, and the performance of the work must take place onsite at Goodfellow Air Force Base. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost for these services. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than July 10, 2026.
