International Waste Hauling and Disposal Service

The Miami-Dade Aviation Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide international waste hauling and disposal services at Miami International Airport. The agency needs to solve the problem of managing, removing, and disposing of regulated garbage generated at the airport facility. The selected contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits, and agreements necessary for the removal, processing, and disposal of this regulated waste. The scope of work requires scheduled pick-up services seven days per week, including holidays, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The contractor must drop off an empty compactor, retrieve the loaded compactor containing regulated garbage compacted by the agency, and transport it to the airport weight station to obtain a weight ticket. The performance of all services must take place onsite at the Miami, Florida airport location. Eligibility is restricted to onshore contractors located within the United States. The contract period will span a duration of one year. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of the services.
