Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Services

Broward Health, a government authority located in Pompano Beach, Florida, is seeking comprehensive testing, adjusting, and balancing services on an as-needed basis across all of its facilities. The agency needs to optimize its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, analyze system performance, and certify critical environments to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The selected provider will address performance issues across various specialized spaces, including operating rooms, procedure rooms, catheterization laboratories, sterile processing departments, pharmacy compounding areas, clean and soiled utility rooms, laboratories, and clean storage areas. The scope of work covers air and hydronic system testing, adjusting, and balancing, as well as airflow and pressurization validation. The agency also requires critical environment certification, annual smoke evacuation system testing, chiller plant performance evaluation, and pump performance testing. Additionally, the provider must perform air handling unit performance testing and building automation system performance analysis and optimization. Bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for these services. The contract period will span one year. The agency has scheduled a mandatory pre-bid meeting for June 30, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
