Electric Bus Charging Infrastructure Maintenance Services

The City of Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance services for its electric bus charging infrastructure. The agency needs to ensure the continuous operational readiness of its depot charging system, which currently consists of thirteen Heliox model 180 Level 3 chargers with two dispensers each, Siemens-based switchgear, and The Mobility House smart charging equipment. The selected contractor will resolve equipment faults and system failures through both scheduled preventative maintenance and rapid unscheduled troubleshooting. The scope of work spans all infrastructure equipment starting from the utility transformer down to the individual bus charger dispensers. Bidders must perform all scheduled maintenance in strict compliance with the respective manufacturers' preventative maintenance schedules, requirements, and directions. For unscheduled maintenance, the contractor must diagnose and repair faults that cause partial or system-wide charging failures. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite in Knoxville, Tennessee, and must be based onshore within the United States.
