Fleet Maintenance Services

The City of Orting, Washington, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive fleet maintenance and repair services for its government vehicles and equipment. The agency requires general and preventative maintenance, as well as repairs on common systems including brakes, suspension, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, and engines. To minimize vehicle downtime, the agency requires a twenty-four-hour turnaround time on routine maintenance and common repairs. The scope of work includes maintaining an adequate inventory of specialized parts to ensure rapid turnaround on non-common repairs. The selected contractor must wash and vacuum each vehicle after completing any service. For administrative tracking, the agency requires all repair orders and billing invoices to reference vehicles by their specific work order numbers. Eligible bidders must be organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the work to be performed either onsite or offsite. The contract period will span two years, and the agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget.
