Housing Information, Education, Outreach and Fair Housing Services

The City of Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver comprehensive housing information, education, outreach, and fair housing services to its residents. The agency is trying to ensure that local residents have accurate and accessible information regarding their housing-related rights, responsibilities, and available resources. To solve these information gaps, the selected partner will conduct landlord and tenant education, provide housing information and referral services, and host "know your rights" trainings and workshops. The scope of work covers community outreach and engagement, technical assistance to tenant associations and tenant unions, and fair housing education. The agency also requires fair housing complaint intake and referral, fair housing testing and investigations, and the development of multilingual educational materials. Additionally, the project includes public awareness campaigns and community-based housing advocacy and capacity-building activities. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of all contracted work to take place offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
