Wildcat Treat Vegetation Service

The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide vegetation treatment services in Fremont, Wyoming. The agency needs to treat vegetation adjacent to existing roads to create defensible space and reduce the accumulation of standing and surface fuels. This project aims to mitigate wildfire risks and improve roadside safety within the designated area. The scope of work covers roadside clearing, roadside thinning, pruning, yarding or forwarding, decking, and piling. The agency requires the removal of trees to facilitate these clearing and thinning activities. The contract period will span one year, and the contractor must perform all work offsite. Only onshore bidders located in the United States are eligible to compete for this contract. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-established funding limit.
