RFI for Information Technology Technician Specialist Services - Presolicitation

The United States Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in California is seeking information from vendors capable of providing information technology technician specialist services. The agency requires a specialist to optimize workflow through the use of modern technology, minimize system downtime, and deliver high-standard customer support. This support must encompass system administration, network infrastructure, technical PC desktop support, and server support. The selected specialist will administer and maintain computer and testing lab servers for the Education and Training Section. The agency requires all computers to run current versions of the Microsoft Windows operating software and all current versions of Windows software. The specialist must also provide system support to computer and testing lab clients and other section users. The commercial network infrastructure covers a local area network, routers, switches, servers, Wi-Fi, access points, marquee and monitor display systems, computers, laptops, computer labs, a computer-based testing lab, and assigned classroom audio and visual technology. The performance of this work will take place offsite. This presolicitation is set aside exclusively for Total Small Business. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a specific funding range or key dates in this initial request.
