Language Translation and Interpretation Services

The issuing agency requires comprehensive interpretation, translation, and related communication access services to ensure effective communication and equal access for Limited English Proficient individuals and individuals with disabilities. The agency is trying to solve communication barriers by securing auxiliary aids and services alongside multilingual translation. The scope of work covers five distinct categories of services to be performed offsite at the selected contractor's office premises. Category one requires on-demand telephonic voice interpretation services. Category two covers face-to-face interpretation services provided through both on-site, in-person interpretation and remote video interpreting. Category three involves written document translation services, which must include formatting and accessibility compliance. Category four encompasses transcription, translation, and voiceover services for recorded or live audio and video content. Category five requires auxiliary aids and services provided in-person or virtually to ensure effective communication for individuals with disabilities. These auxiliary services include real-time captioning, in-person sign language interpretation, oral interpreting, cued speech transliteration, pre-scheduled and on-demand video remote interpreting, and certified deaf interpreter services. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services. The agency will host a pre-proposal conference on July 13, 2026, and requires all questions to be submitted no later than July 22, 2026.
