Receipt, Transfer, Haul and Disposal Solid Waste Service

The City of Paducah, Kentucky is seeking a contractor to safely operate and maintain a transfer station facility for municipal solid waste. The agency requires the selected operator to receive, manage, and transport all city-delivered collected waste to an approved and permitted disposal facility. Additionally, the operator must provide safe tipping floor access for residents hauling their own trailer loads and maintain a safe citizen drop-off area on the same property. The scope of work also requires the operator to receive, manage, and transport all recyclables collected at the citizen drop-off area to their respective disposition locations. All performance of the work must take place onsite at the facility in Paducah. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations only. The agency has scheduled a mandatory pre-bid meeting for June 12, 2026. Bidders must attend this mandatory meeting to remain eligible for the contract award.
