Solid Waste Collection Services

The United City of Yorkville, Illinois is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive solid waste collection, disposal, and recycling services. The agency requires the selected vendor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, transportation, and landfill and compost facility space necessary to collect and dispose of refuse and yard waste. The contractor must also arrange for the collection and marketing of recyclables with processors. To facilitate garbage collection, the contractor must provide one 33-gallon, 64-gallon, or 96-gallon tote to each single-family residence in the city at the contractor's own expense. Residents may also utilize water-tight metal or plastic reusable waste containers ranging from fifteen to thirty-three gallons in capacity. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for five years. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore United States organizations. The performance of all contracted work must take place onsite in Yorkville, Illinois. Bidders may submit their proposals digitally via email or through an online submission portal.
