RFI for Airport industrial Park Development Opportunity Service

The Lake County Airport in Leadville, Colorado, is seeking information and partners to explore airport industrial park development opportunities. The agency requires a feasibility study to evaluate development strategies, infrastructure delivery models, public-private partnership opportunities, and market opportunities. This initiative aims to engage development, investment, infrastructure, aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, and economic development partners to assess industrial land absorption, financing, and implementation approaches. The requested feasibility study must cover economic and demographic analysis, an industrial market assessment, and an industrial land demand analysis. The selected vendor will conduct stakeholder interviews, conceptual site planning, preliminary infrastructure planning, and preliminary infrastructure cost estimates. Additionally, the study must include a target industry analysis with a specific focus on aerospace and high-altitude innovation opportunities. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit responses for this opportunity. The performance of the work can be conducted either onsite in Leadville or offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has set a deadline of August 10, 2026, for the submission of all questions.
