Comprehensive Behavioral Health Crisis Services

The Mendocino County government authority in Ukiah, California is seeking a provider to deliver comprehensive behavioral health crisis services. The agency needs a twenty-four hour, seven days per week, three hundred and sixty-five days per year response system to address urgent and emergency behavioral health conditions. This initiative aims to establish a highly efficient, cost-effective crisis service continuum that resolves immediate psychiatric emergencies in the local community. The scope of work covers the staffing, operation, and maintenance of a crisis hotline, as well as mobile crisis responses, emergency room services, and office-based crisis center interventions. The selected provider must deliver mobile crisis services in strict accordance with Notice 23-025 and all associated regulations. Additionally, the provider must maintain a staffing composition that meets all specialty behavioral health timely access standards, time and distance requirements, and quality assurance benchmarks. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the provider to submit billing in a specified format and to maintain the capacity to meet medical necessity criteria for individuals in crisis. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish a three-year contract, and the performance of the work may occur onsite or offsite.
