Street Outreach Service

The government authority in New York is seeking a vendor to provide street outreach services utilizing a community-based approach. The agency aims to reduce the harm associated with drug use, particularly in public spaces. The selected provider will engage individuals in active drug use at physical locations such as local parks, streets, and identified hot spots. The scope of work requires the provider to participate in High Risk Mitigation Team meetings and collaborate on street outreach coordination efforts. This collaboration includes accepting referrals from the High Risk Mitigation Team and engaging individuals in harm reduction and treatment services. Additionally, the provider must deliver harm reduction education to community members and facilitate syringe exchange access. The agency requires the provider to link individuals to medication for opioid use disorder services, distribute naloxone, and maintain naloxone boxes in the community. The provider must also deliver defined case management services and offer transportation to intake or admission appointments as needed. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
