Downtown Holiday Lighting Services

The Downtown Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive holiday lighting services for the downtown area during the 2026 holiday season. The agency needs to solve the logistical challenge of decorating, maintaining, and dismantling seasonal displays to enhance the downtown atmosphere. The selected vendor must furnish all holiday lighting materials and equipment, install the lighting at designated locations, conduct as-needed inspections, and remove all decorations at the end of the season. The project scope covers installing lights on trees along the east and west sides of Biddle Avenue, as well as decorating and illuminating the landscaped areas around City Hall. Additionally, the vendor must decorate and illuminate the central fire house and the police station and court house areas. The agency requires the vendor to conduct inspections and monitoring before, during, and after the installation date through the end of the takedown process. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to take place offsite, and bidders can submit their responses digitally via email or online. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will run for one year. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 28, 2026.
