Opioid Abatement Substance Use Disorder Intervention Micro Grant Program Services

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a vendor to administer opioid abatement substance use disorder intervention micro grant program services. The agency is attempting to address the impacts of opioid and substance use disorder by funding prevention, harm reduction, behavioral health, treatment, recovery, and supportive services. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to conduct overdose prevention education, distribute naloxone and harm reduction supplies, and deliver behavioral health outreach and community education. The agency also requires the vendor to connect participants to treatment, recovery, and behavioral health services while providing peer support, recovery coaching, case management, and navigation assistance. Additionally, the vendor must assist participants with transportation, housing, employment, and other recovery supports, while engaging underserved and high-risk populations and collaborating with community partners to increase service access. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 31, 2026.
