Title Search Services

The City of Detroit, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide a full spectrum of title search services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of obtaining and tracking real-time property data across its various departments and agencies. To address this, the selected vendor must upload all gathered information to a Salesforce database that the city can access in real time. The scope of work covers abstracting, underwriting for agents from a variety of underwriters, settlement, and the recording of deeds, affidavits, and other documents. The requested services also include retrieving the tax-record owner, legal description, zoning, code enforcement history, and current physical condition of the properties. The agency requires the performance of this work to be completed offsite over a contract period of one year. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 1, 2026.
