Archival Assessment and Digitization Planning Services - Budget - Up to 20,000 USD

The agency is seeking archival assessment and digitization planning services. This project aims to develop a framework for a citywide archiving and digitization initiative. The scope of work includes conducting archival assessments and developing a comprehensive plan. This involves site visits to various departments and storage locations, with findings documented in a written report. The assessment will identify material types, formats, and approximate volumes, as well as historically significant or high-priority collections. Current storage conditions and associated risks will also be documented. The agency requires the development of a classification system suitable for city use, informed by state archives and archival best practices. Recommendations for a phased archiving and digitization program are also a key deliverable. Performance of the work will be conducted offsite.
