Scrap Metal Services

The agency is seeking a contractor to provide scrap metal services in Knoxville, TN. The contractor will accept all types of scrap metal and will be responsible for any costs incurred for the disposal of non-recycled or residual materials. The contractor will implement a ticket verification system, issuing a ticket at the point of delivery for all material. This ticket must detail the date, ticket number, site, type, and quantity of material collected, along with any other attributes necessary for tracking delivered material for accounting purposes. The contractor will also submit a monthly report that corresponds with issued tickets, detailing the date of delivery, ticket number, type, quantity, and cost or revenue paid for the material. The performance of the work will be offsite. The contract period will be for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 4, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals to address this need.
