The Town of York is seeking proposals from qualified independent certified public accountants. The agency requires external audits for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2027, through June 30, 2029. Proposals may include recommendations for two one-year extensions beyond this initial three-year term. The project covers providing an opinion on the town's financial statements, including government-wide financial statements, fund financial statements, and notes to the financial statements. It also includes preparing and reviewing other required supplementary information for accuracy and completeness, and providing a management letter with recommendations for improvements in internal controls and operations. The performance of the work will be conducted offsite. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. Bidders must submit three copies and one unbound original of their written proposal in a sealed envelope or box. Faxed, emailed, or oral proposals will not be considered. The Town of York is looking for proposals and has not specified a budget. The RFP was released on July 15, 2026, and proposals are due by 10:00 am on September 15, 2026.
