Contracted Assessor Services

The City of Burlington, Vermont, seeks a vendor to deliver comprehensive contracted assessor services and provide a named lead assessor eligible and willing to accept an appointment as Interim Assessor pursuant to the charter. The selected contractor must administer real estate property valuations for property taxation, payment-in-lieu agreements, and fee-for-service agreements. Additionally, the scope encompasses assessment administration, valuation, handling appeals and boards, managing state reporting, and collecting, verifying, and analyzing income and expense data for investment-type properties. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations, and performance of the work may occur onsite or offsite. The buyer is looking for proposals regarding the budget, and the resulting contract will cover a three-year period. Bidders must submit all questions no later than August 20, 2026.
