Grand Central Terminal Existing Security System

The government authority in New York requires a vendor to deliver, furnish, install, configure, test, perform phased cutovers, and commission an upgraded security system for Grand Central Terminal. The scope encompasses upgrading the network, video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems, as well as associated electrical systems for existing communications rooms. The vendor must remove and dispose of specified existing equipment and install new communication equipment, including category 6 cables, fiber optic cables, and conduits for access control devices. The vendor must also install new electrical equipment, including circuit breakers, uninterruptible power supplies, power cables, and conduits, along with new security system devices.
