Federal Government Relations and Lobbying Services

The buyer requires federal government relations and lobbying services to develop and implement a proactive federal strategy. The selected vendor must provide strategic advice, advocacy, relationship development, and ongoing representation. Scope details include advancing legislative, policy, funding, regulatory, and project-specific priorities. The vendor must deliver comprehensive federal legislative advocacy, monitor and advocate on relevant legislation, and provide strategic advocacy regarding the Water Resources Development Act and other authorizing legislation affecting the Port of Mobile and Mobile Harbor. Responsibilities also include developing relationships with senior federal agency officials and advising on emerging federal policies affecting ports, maritime transportation, freight mobility, rail, navigation, dredging, and infrastructure. Eligibility requires an onshore USA organization. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite.
