Labor and Employment Legal Services

The City of Saratoga Springs, NY requires a USA-based organization to provide labor and employment legal services on an as-needed basis. The selected vendor will advise and represent the City on labor and employment law matters, including employee discipline, contract grievances, improper practice charges, arbitrations, litigations, and collective bargaining with the City's bargaining units. The vendor will perform the work offsite. Requested duties include consulting on Human Resource matters, practices, policies, programs, and procedures related to municipal government. Additionally, the vendor will review and prepare draft Notice of Disciplines, and research and interpret applicable state and federal personnel and labor laws. The buyer seeks proposals for the budget and provides no specific evaluation criteria or key dates.
