Mental Health Peer Patient Representatives Services

The buyer requires a vendor to provide mental health peer patient representatives services in Waterbury, Vermont. Under this contract, the vendor recruits, hires, and supervises peer support providers to serve as patient representatives for individuals in state custody at designated hospitals. These representatives attend treatment planning and treatment team meetings upon the individual's request to advocate alongside them and encourage self-advocacy skills. Additionally, representatives visit facilities in a designated area at an agreed-upon time each week, followed by appointments requested by individuals and approved in advance by the facility. Work performance occurs offsite. To qualify, eligibility restricts applicants strictly to onshore, USA organizations. The buyer is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
