The Teachers’ Retirement System, a government authority located in Illinois, requires outside legal counsel to provide investment legal services on an ongoing, as-needed basis. The buyer needs legal representation primarily involving its investment portfolio. The requested scope includes advising on private market fund investments such as private equity, private credit, real estate, real assets, infrastructure, venture capital, and hedge funds. Additionally, the scope covers co-investments involving both debt and equity, separate accounts, and funds-of-one. The buyer limits eligibility to onshore, USA-only organizations and requires offsite performance of the work. For the budget, the buyer is looking for proposals. Interested vendors must submit all questions no later than September 18, 2026.
