The buyer requires a consulting firm to conduct research and engagement on deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains. The selected vendor must support the development of strategic recommendations for advancing deforestation- and conversion-free soy supply chains in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Additionally, the vendor must identify potential opportunities to combine efforts across these thematic areas to create integrated solution pathways. To qualify, bidders must demonstrate analytical and thematic expertise in jurisdictional approaches, producer remediation, traceability, and environmental risk management. Bidders also need sustainable finance expertise in financial instruments and mechanisms supporting sustainable soybean production, alongside regional experience engaging financial institutions, producers, and private-sector stakeholders in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The buyer limits eligibility to onshore USA organizations and specifies that performance of the work will occur offsite. The buyer has not established a fixed budget and is looking for proposals.
