The buyer requires a vendor to provide safe, creative, and professionally executed events fireworks and pyrotechnic special effects displays services for a three-year contract period. The display must run for a minimum of ten minutes and feature a strong opening sequence, dynamic pacing, visual variety, musical synchronization, and a finale suitable for a large, all-ages civic celebration. For the annual Diwali event, the display starts at 10:00 p.m. or as directed by the city, incorporating a customized creative concept sensitive to the event's cultural significance. The buyer needs the display to be visible throughout 100 acres of the park and within a one-kilometer radius from rooftops. Eligible bidders must be Canadian organizations performing the work offsite. Vendors must register on the issuing authority's website to download the unwatermarked RFP.
