Congregate Food Programs Grant Administered Services

The buyer requires a vendor to administer and provide congregate food program services for eligible agency residents in Paterson, NJ. The selected vendor must supply prepared meals to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and meet income eligibility requirements. Each meal recipient must complete a presumptive eligibility form and be entered into empowOR. The scope sets an estimated annual allocation of $32,586.74 from the Community Services Block Grant and other appropriate sources. The buyer limits the total cost per meal to a maximum of $5.34, inclusive of all operational and administrative expenses. Eligible bidders must be US-based onshore organizations to perform this onsite work over a one-year contract period. The buyer will evaluate proposals with a preference for a single entity providing services directly within the agency. The buyer also gives evaluation preference to entities that operate the feeding program for a minimum of five days per week.
