Professional Forestry Consulting Services

The government authority located in Ontario requires a vendor to provide professional forestry consulting services for a three-year contract period. The buyer needs the supplier to perform onsite tree risk assessments and forest health assessments as and when required by the city. The scope requires conducting surveys of city-owned forested areas, including woodlots and natural areas, to identify risks to woodland health. Specific survey tasks include overstorey classification, understorey health and regeneration assessments, non-native invasive species identification, forest pest tracking, ash decline and species of concern evaluation, GPS mapping of noted hazards, and identification of other biotic and abiotic disturbances. Vendors must register on the issuing authority's website to download the unwatermarked RFP and must be based onshore in Canada. Vendors can submit responses digitally via email or online, and the buyer requests budget proposals. Vendors must submit all questions no later than October 08, 2026.
