Oakland Schools' Board of Education requires firm prime contractor bids to deliver selective architectural, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work for the NAIS Lab at the Southeast Technical Campus. The scope includes engineering, layout, demolition, joint sealants, concrete work, fire/smoke seals, vapor retarders, trenching, plumbing and gas installation, electrical and fire alarm work, temporary lighting, barricades, inspections, coring, cleanup, and disposal. Bidders must also provide allowances for roof conductor storm piping repairs and securing existing cabling. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid, and performance occurs onsite. Bidders must submit duplicate proposals in a sealed, opaque envelope to the Office of Procurement and Contracting in Waterford, MI, by 10:00 AM EST on September 29, 2026. A pre-bid meeting occurs at 10:00 AM on September 15, 2026, at the Southeast Technical Campus entrance in Royal Oak, MI. Proposals over $31,321 require a certified check or bid bond of at least 5% of the proposal sum.
