Rent Levelling Board Attorney Services

The Borough of Fort Lee seeks qualification statements from firms to provide rent leveling board attorney services on an as-needed, onsite basis during 2027. Eligible bidders must be USA-based organizations with appropriate federal and state licenses, including a Business Registration Certificate. Bidders must also demonstrate the capability, experience, and willingness to provide high-quality, cost-effective services. Respondents must mail or hand deliver an original and two bound copies of their signed qualification statement by October 16, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The borough will not accept facsimile or email submissions. Required submission documents include an executed Letter of Qualification, an executed Letter of Intent, a description of overall experience, and an explanation of the perceived relevance of that experience. The borough evaluates proposals to determine the most advantageous submission based on experience and reputation in the field, availability to accommodate required borough meetings, and the cost proposal. The borough reserves the right to weight these criteria in its sole discretion and will disclose the weightings after receiving statements but before the public opening.
