Attorney Service

The Borough of Oakland is soliciting Qualification Statements from interested individuals or firms for the provision of legal services as the Borough Attorney. Respondents must possess the professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to deliver offsite attorney services and agree to the Borough's compensation terms. Eligible bidders are limited to onshore USA organizations. Respondents must mail or hand deliver an original and four copies of their bound, signed Qualification Statement to the Borough by 4:00 p.m. on October 29, 2026. Facsimile or email submissions will not be accepted. Submissions must include administrative information, an executed Letter of Qualification, an executed Letter of Intent, and a proposed rate schedule containing hourly rates. The Review Team will evaluate proposals based on the most advantageous response considering experience and reputation in the field, as well as availability to accommodate required Borough meetings. Respondents must bear all costs associated with preparing and submitting their responses.
