Construction Manager and General Contractor Service

The Salt Lake City School District seeks competitive sealed proposals from qualified vendors to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor services for the Career Technical Center project. The required scope largely consists of renovations to the site of a former elementary school located in Salt Lake, Utah. Performance of the work will take place onsite. Only onshore United States organizations with a B100 General Building Contractor license issued by the State of Utah are eligible to bid. Bidders must also possess all required Utah construction trade licensing, demonstrate bonding capacity up to the project cost limit, meet district insurance requirements, and provide verification that they are not debarred or suspended. Interested vendors must submit all questions no later than October 9, 2026. Evaluators will review proposals across three stages: an initial review of mandatory minimum requirements, a detailed technical and subjective price proposal evaluation, and in-person interviews for vendors reaching the minimum technical score threshold. The district will determine contract award based on the best value, reserving the right to select a lower-scoring, technically qualified offer if supported by a cost-benefit analysis. The fixed limit of construction cost for this project is set at a maximum of $32,000,000.00.
