Medical Director Services

The City of Sacramento requires a Medical Director to provide medical oversight for all Fire Department Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations, including direct and indirect medical direction, narcotics accountability oversight, quality assurance, EMS training, and clinical guidance. The contractor must support educational programs, review policies, participate in continuous quality improvement, deliver on-scene medical support when requested, maintain controlled substance credentials, and submit bi-monthly reports.
