Auditing Services

The Board of Education of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School requires auditing services for the 2026-2027 school year under request for proposal RFP-2027-10-2. The selected vendor must conduct the annual audit pursuant to the Audit Program-Financial Accounting, covering the agency's books, accounts, monies, and a verification of all cash and bank balances of the board and any affiliated officers or employees. Eligible USA-only organizations must possess at least ten years of experience representing public entities and must maintain professional liability insurance including errors and omissions of no less than $1,000,000. Bidders must submit sealed proposals to the Administration Office in Toms River, NJ, by 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on October 20, 2026, when the buyer will publicly open and read them aloud. Submissions must include a fee schedule, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and required certifications regarding non-involvement in prohibited activities in Iran, Russia, or Belarus. An Evaluation Committee will rate proposals using a Proposal Rating Form that assesses management, technical capabilities, cost, past experience, and performance. The buyer will award the contract to the responsible contractor offering the proposal most advantageous to the board, price and other factors considered.
