RFI for Construction Manager at Risk Services

The Maryland government authority requires vendors to submit information regarding Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services. Vendors must provide information on alternative CMAR pricing structures, including fixed-fee compensation, lump-sum compensation, cost reimbursement plus a predetermined fixed fee, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) arrangements. Additional pricing structures include separately negotiated preconstruction and construction phase compensation, fixed general conditions or general requirements, open-book cost reimbursement subject to defined allowable-cost provisions and a fixed fee, or other commercially accepted approaches that do not calculate compensation as a percentage of actual costs. Only onshore US organizations are eligible to bid for this opportunity. The vendor will perform the work offsite.
