Atlantic County seeks qualified attorneys and law firms to perform all legal services and duties customarily required by counsel representing the county. The required scope encompasses multiple practice areas, including employment and human resources, litigation, labor, land use, wage and hour, debt collection, civil commitment, and tax law. To be eligible, responding attorneys must be licensed in active status in New Jersey, hold a Supreme Court of New Jersey Certificate of Good Standing, maintain legal malpractice insurance listing the county as an additional insured, and disclose any pending disciplinary matters. Applicants must also represent an onshore USA organization. Bidders may submit responses digitally via email or online, and all questions are due by October 9, 2026. Proposals will undergo evaluation based on personnel qualifications, relevant legal experience, reputation, availability, and overall organizational capabilities. The contract term spans one year, and respondents must submit all-inclusive proposed remuneration featuring flat fees, hourly rates, or percentage fees depending on the specific practice area.
