Hood Cleaning Services

Johnson County Community College requires commercial food service equipment hood cleaning services at its Overland Park, Kansas location. The requested scope includes cleaning interior and exterior exhaust hood canopies, grease troughs, drip cups, light fixtures, plenums, horizontal and vertical duct interiors, access panels, and exhaust fan housing, blades, motor housing, and adjacent roof areas. Contractors must also completely remove, chemically degrease, pressure wash, and reinstall all baffle-type or extractor-type grease filters. Only US onshore organizations are eligible to bid, and performance must occur onsite for a one-year contract term. Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on October 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST, submit bid clarifications by October 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST, and submit digital responses by October 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST via email or online at ProcureWare. The college evaluates proposals based on price, conformance to specifications, quality, and past performance to select the most advantageous response.
