- Develop and conduct trainings, briefings, and briefing materials for VA staff and external stakeholders
- Develop transparency tools, exhibits, and reporting
- Provide additional actuarial models including CHAMPVA, PCAFC, and Readjustment Counseling Service models
- Process nearly 100 data files and produce approximately 1,000 deliverables annually
- Provide actuarial consulting and surge support
Minimum qualifications
- Program Manager must be at a minimum an Associate of the Society of Actuaries
- Tenured Principal Actuaries, Principal Actuaries, and Actuary II must be Fellows of the Society of Actuaries
- Minimum of five years of relevant health care actuarial experience required for key personnel
- Expertise in SAS, SQL, project management, and quality control
- Capacity to provide 35,000 to 40,000 consulting hours per year
- Surge support capacity for 1,500 to 3,500 monthly consulting hours

- Ability to provide on-site support in Washington, D.C., estimated at six trips per year

Industry feedback and comments received will contribute to the method of procurement and the final SOO issued for this requirement.
