Event Consultant Services

The City of Stone Mountain is seeking proposals from qualified USA organizations to serve as the event consultant and organizer for the official Mardi Gras event on February 6, 2027. The selected consultant will create a comprehensive event plan, manage sponsorships and vendors, direct on-site operations, handle marketing, and provide a post-event report to promote tourism and activate downtown Stone Mountain. The City will pay the selected consultant $10,000 under a professional services agreement, and the consultant will retain all remaining vendor fees and sponsorship revenues after covering event expenses. Eligible onshore applicants must submit proposals via email or online to Tourism Manager Elle Walker by October 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Evaluation criteria include relevant experience, approach feasibility, ability to secure sponsorships, cost-effectiveness, and references.
