Trash, Recycling, and Compost Collection Services

The City of Northville, Michigan requires a vendor to provide trash, recycling, and compost collection services. The selected contractor must supply one 96-gallon trash cart and one 96-gallon recycling cart to each eligible residence, while also collecting, hauling, disposing, and processing solid waste and recyclable materials from public dumpsters and receptacles in designated commercial and downtown districts. Additionally, the vendor must service city containers frequently enough to prevent overflow, clean up litter within a ten-foot radius, report damage or illegal dumping, and maintain operations that prevent spillage and minimize traffic disruptions. U.S.-based onshore organizations are eligible to bid for this five-year onsite contract, and applicants must submit all questions by October 20, 2026, with final proposals submitted digitally via email or online.
