Outdoor Interpretive Design Build Services

The Town of Estes Park seeks a qualified contractor to provide outdoor interpretive design-build services for an exhibit located at the Estes Park Visitor Center. The primary focus of the exhibit is elk safety, alongside secondary goals addressing local wildlife education, safe viewing practices, proper responses to wildlife encounters, food storage, coexistence, rutting and calving seasons, and pet safety. Work will occur onsite in Estes Park, Colorado, and deliverables include digital design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and stakeholder presentation storyboards. Eligible US organizations must attend a mandatory in-person pre-proposal conference on October 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM MT, and the successful firm must obtain a Town Business License and maintain required insurance. Applicants must submit written questions by October 20, 2026, and send digital proposals via email or online by 2:00 PM MT on November 3, 2026. Proposals must follow a seven-section index including project narrative, key personnel qualifications, schedule, completed exhibits, three relevant project references from the past three years, and a detailed cost proposal with an hourly fee schedule. The contract term runs from execution through final project completion and acceptance, with payment structured around certified progress reports up to a negotiated not-to-exceed contract amount.
