Bond Counsel Services

The County of Atlantic, New Jersey, seeks a vendor to provide bond counsel services. The selected contractor will prepare bond ordinances, closing certificates, and execution-ready bonds with appropriate legal opinions, including opinions on tax excludability. Additional duties include assisting with Preliminary and Final Official Statements, answering rating agency legal questions, providing general advice on existing bond issues, calculating rebate amounts, and delivering an index of closing documents on a thumb drive within 90 days of closing. Only USA onshore organizations are eligible to bid. The contractor must fulfill work both onsite and offsite, and secure insurance coverage from New Jersey-authorized insurers rated "A-VII" or better by A.M. Best.
