Check Collection Services

Sedgwick County, Kansas needs a vendor to provide complete check collection services for county departments. The scope includes making weekly contact attempts for 12-week periods, providing legal services at the vendor's sole expense when requested, and sending monthly electronic reports, invoices, and ACH payments for recovered funds and overage return check fees. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to submit proposals. Requisite submission materials include firm qualifications, experience with government agencies, legal and collection procedures, staff training details, four references, samples of scripts and correspondence, proof of insurance, a completed Response Form, and a Pricing Form detailing non-litigation and litigation collection fees. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department by October 15, 2026. Proposers must submit responses digitally via email or online by 1:45 PM CST on November 3, 2026. The contract initial term is two years, with two optional one-year renewals.
