Tax Appeal Attorney Service

The City of Passaic seeks qualified tax appeal attorneys to provide offsite legal guidance and perform all required legal services for the city. Applicants must hold a license to practice law in the State of New Jersey and possess a State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate at the time of contract award. Bidders must also comply with state insurance, Chapter 25 certification, prevailing wage, and payroll reporting requirements. The contract term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Applicants must deliver sealed proposals in envelopes endorsed "Tax Appeal Attorney" to Doris Dudek, Director of Purchasing, by Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 10:45 A.M. prevailing time. The buyer will evaluate proposals to determine the highest scored proposer based on technical criteria (12%), management criteria (29%), past experience and performance (27%), and cost criteria without exceeding the budget (32%).
