Prosecutor Services

The Township of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, requires prosecutor legal services to represent the municipality in all aspects of Municipal Prosecutor work. Assigned counsel will handle these responsibilities offsite for a contract term running from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. To be eligible, proposers must be USA-based individuals or firms with a minimum of five years of experience in Municipal Court work and representing matters in Municipal Court. Submissions must include a technical proposal detailing the qualifications and experience of assigned personnel, references from similar services within the past five years, a cost proposal, and signed required documents, including an Affirmative Action Statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Owner Disclosure Statement, and Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran Form. Proposers must also submit a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. Applicants must address proposals to Angela Lazzari, Township Clerk, and submit an original and one signed copy by 10:00 A.M. on October 30, 2026. The Township evaluation committee will select the most advantageous proposal based on the qualifications, experience, reputation, and training of personnel, the availability of sufficient resources, and the reasonableness of the cost proposal.
