Scope of work
- Performing planning and technical administrative consulting services, including Master Plan revisions and Land Use Ordinance Amendments
- Provision of construction inspection services associated with Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment applications
- Attendance at regular and/or Special meetings of the Township Council, Planning Board, or Zoning Board of Adjustment
- Preparing special planning reports as directed by the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, or Township Administration
- Assisting Township personnel on administrative and technical matters
- Providing professional planning advisory services as requested by the Township Mayor, Council, or Administrator
- Assisting with litigation as requested by the Township Mayor, Council, or Administrator
- Preparation of redevelopment studies and plans as required by the Township
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience as a Certified Planner
- Minimum of five (5) years servicing the Township of Berkeley Heights or other governmental entities
- The person responsible for the account must have a current and valid New Jersey State license
- Statement that firm and assigned individuals are not disbarred, suspended, or prohibited from professional practice
- Demonstrate thorough familiarity with N.J.S.A. 40 and 40A, Land Use Procedures Code of the Township, and local government structure
